Minor Subdivisions <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Michelotti, seconded by Ms. Mohr, to accept the Planning <br />Commition recommendation to move Program 3.1 on page IV-15 to become Program 12.5 <br />on page IV-25. This Program reads as follows: "Exempt minor subdivisions of five lots <br />or less from the provisions of the City's Growth Management Program." <br /> <br />The r011 c~ll vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Michelotti, Mohr, Pico, and Mayor Tarvet <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Large Lot Zonina <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Michelotti, seconded by Ms. Mohr, to accept the Planning <br />Commition recommendation to delete Program 3.2 on page IV-16, which reads as follows: <br />"Zone sufficient land for R-l-20 and R-l-40 developments to create large lots in peripheral <br />areas." <br /> <br />The rQll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Michelot~, Mohr, Pico, and Mayor Taxvet <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />GrOwth Management <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarvet did not support the Planning Commission recommendation because it <br />extends the total allocation for Growth Management. Affordable housing should be part of the <br />priority system, not an exemption. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti felt to make this consistent with the prior Council decision it might <br />consider removing the word "rental". <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Mohr, seconded by Ms. Michelotti, to modify the Planning <br />Commission recommendations to add Program 5.2 to page IV-16, to read as follows: <br />"Reserve 100 housing units per year above the Growth Management limit for projects <br />which provide at least 25 percent lower-income units? <br /> <br />07/02/96 -36- <br /> <br /> <br />
