She gave a <br />synopsis of the formation of the District and how the air quality is measured. There was also <br />a computer animation showing the levels of air pollution in the Bay Area over a period of days <br />in 1995. Ms. Lee related the various campaigns and measures to encourage people to "Spare <br />the Air". <br /> <br /> Dan Dawson, President of the Blairgowrie Sister City Association, thanked the City <br />Council for the donation of a fire truck to the Sister City in Blairgowrie and presented T-shirts. <br />He related the various fundraising events planned to raise money to transport the fire engine to <br />Scotland. <br /> <br />06/04/96 -3- <br /> <br /> <br />
