1. Accept the report of the actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission. (IR 96:05) Th~ r011 ~ vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Michelotti, Pico and Mayor Tarver NOES: Councilmember Pico on Item 4d ABSENT: Councilmember Mohr ABSTAIN: None $, MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC Bruce Fiedler, Pleasanton Gardens Administrator, stated that a portion of the Community Development Block Grant was used to purchase materials for a triple heavy-duty fence along the east side of the Pleasanton Gardens facility. There were no labor costs as they were ably and enthusiastically assisted by Boy Scout Troop #547 sponsored by the Church of Latter Day Saints. Mr. Fiedler then mentioned his concerns about flood control and improvements to St. Mary's Creek. 6, PUBLIC HEARINGS AND OTHER MATTERS Item 6a PUD-80-2-9M. Valley Care Hospital (IR 95:68) Brian Swift presented the information report. There were no speakers on this item. Mr. Pico stated that he did not support the action to modify the procedures and felt that it is a mistake to give away the requirement to bring these projects to the Council for review. Ms. Dennis did not support this proposal either because of her concern for retaining control of changes until the community park issue was resolved. In the long term, however, she supported the concept. Ms. Michelotti stated that review of these matters will be by the Planning Commission, and the City Council can still appeal any decision.
