1. Accept the report of the actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning <br /> Commission. (IR 96:05) <br /> <br />Th~ r011 ~ vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Michelotti, Pico and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: Councilmember Pico on Item 4d <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Mohr <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />$, MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> <br /> Bruce Fiedler, Pleasanton Gardens Administrator, stated that a portion of the Community <br />Development Block Grant was used to purchase materials for a triple heavy-duty fence along the <br />east side of the Pleasanton Gardens facility. There were no labor costs as they were ably and <br />enthusiastically assisted by Boy Scout Troop #547 sponsored by the Church of Latter Day Saints. <br /> <br /> Mr. Fiedler then mentioned his concerns about flood control and improvements to St. <br /> Mary's Creek. <br /> <br /> 6, PUBLIC HEARINGS AND OTHER MATTERS <br /> <br /> Item 6a <br /> PUD-80-2-9M. Valley Care Hospital (IR 95:68) <br /> <br /> Brian Swift presented the information report. <br /> <br /> There were no speakers on this item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico stated that he did not support the action to modify the procedures and felt that <br /> it is a mistake to give away the requirement to bring these projects to the Council for review. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis did not support this proposal either because of her concern for retaining <br /> control of changes until the community park issue was resolved. In the long term, however, she <br /> supported the concept. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti stated that review of these matters will be by the Planning Commission, <br /> and the City Council can still appeal any decision.
