(SR97:268) <br /> <br /> Brian Swift presented the staff reports. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver asked Council if it would allow the appellant to speak first, then hear <br />public testimony, and then have Council discussion. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti asked what the procedure would be if Council wanted to address the <br />existing Pacific Bell tower on the site. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta explained Council has approved a five year rolling lease with Pacific Bell <br />Mobile Services. Staff will contact Pacific Bell Mobile Services and bring back a report to <br />Council. <br /> <br /> Mark den Broeder, 4279 Barbara Court, did not want to expose his children to <br />radiation from the towers. He expressed his concern over how the towers are being forced upon <br />his neighborhood. The towers were an eyesore, unsafe, and did not belong in his neighborhood. <br />He asked Council to enforce the Pleasanton Municipal Code that states no towers shall be <br />located in a residential area.
