MINUTES <br /> OF <br /> THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> April 1, 1997 <br /> <br />1, CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Mayor Ben Tarvet called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 7:05 p.m. <br /> Mr. Pico led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico commented on the importance of televising the Council meetings. He feels <br />there still could be more work done to better communicate with the community. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers present were Kay Ayala, Becky Dennis, Sharrell Michelotti, Thomas P. Pico, <br />Jr. and Mayor Ben Tarver. Staff members present were: Deborah Acosta, City Manager; <br />Michael H. Roush, City Attorney; Brian W. Swift, Director of Planning and Community <br />Development; Randall A. Lum, Director of Public Works; Sue Rossi, Director of Finance; <br />Steven Bocian, Assistant City Manager; Dolores Bengtson, Director of Park/Community <br />Services; and Bill van Gelder, Traffic Engineer. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Item 4a, City Council Minutes for March 18, 1997, were removed from the agenda by <br />staff. <br /> <br /> Item 6f, Tfi-Valley Sub-regional Development Fee, was continued to April 15, 1997. <br /> <br /> Item 6g, (1) Specific Plan Amendment SPA-95-01, Stoneridge Drive Specific Plan, <br />Alameda County, (2) PUD-96-02, "California Somerset II", Kaufman and Broad/Alameda <br />County, (3) Request for Growth Management Allocation, (4) Request for approval of Affordable <br />Housing and City Fee Waiver, (5) Draft Agreement between CalMat, Kaufman and Broad, <br />Alameda County, and the City of Pleasanton, was continued to April 15, 1997. <br /> <br />City Council 04/01/97 <br />Minutes 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
