It was moved by Ms. Ayala, and seconded by Ms. Dennis, that Ordinance No. 1711 be introduced, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, amending Section 17.36.080 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code and adding Sections 17.36.082 and 17.36.085 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code concerning lower income for sale projects, but removing any reference to moderate income for sale units. The roll call vote was aS fOllOws: AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Dennis, and Michelotti NOES: Mayor Tarver ABSENT: Councilmember Pico ABSTAIN: None Item 71~ Ms. Ayala said that she would like to give the developers thirty days to come back with recommendations for the Council. She said she spoke to representatives from Ponderosa, Signature, Staples Ranch and Prudential and told them that it was time they met and come up with recommendations for the Council. She also spoke with Tri-Valley Business Council representatives who said that they would be willing to sit in on these discussions. She does not feel it is necessary to have a lawyer present. Ms. Michelotti asked what role the Growth Management Committee would have in this process? Mayor Tarvet said none. It was moved by Ms. Ayala, and seconded by Ms. Michelotti, to permit the development community to have thirty days to develop recommendations to the Growth Management Program Ordinances with the goal to address the need to reduce the number of units approved annually.
