Mr. Pico clarified that the cost to print the enhanced General Plan would be about $100
to $150 per copy.

Mr. Swift said yes.

Ms. Michelotti asked if the total figure of $50,000 was correct?

Ms. Acosta said yes.

Mr. Pico felt that is an excessive cost and the current edition is great.

Ms. Michelotti believed that the General Plan is a working document and people will use
it alot in whatever format. She had felt city staff did an excellent job producing the General
Plan document.

Ms. Dennis believed the map quality of this edition is much better than in the past and
saw no reason to spend so much money on a different format. She would rather spend the
money on equipment for City staff to produce better products.

Mr. Pico felt the acknowledgement to the General Plan Steering Committee should have
been in the front of the publication. There was also reference to the various subcommittees and
additional acknowledgements should list those subcommittee members by name.

It was moved by Mr. Pico, seconded by Ms. Dennis, to retain the existing format
of the General Plan.
The roll call vote was as follows:
AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, and Vice Mayor Pico
NOES: None
ABSENT: Mayor Tarver
ABSTAIN: None

7.
