It was moved by Ms. Ayala, seconded by Ms. Dennis, to adopt Resolution No. 97-11, <br />denying the appeal and thereby uphold the decision of the Public Works Director to deny <br />permission to remove the heritage tree at 3590 Churchill Court and directing staff to work <br />with the homeowners to trim limbs over the roof and affecting the street light. The roll call <br />vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, and Vice Mayor Pico <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Tarvet <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti said she voted in favor of the motion, but if this does not work, she will <br />be an advocate for taking other measures. <br /> <br />Item 6e <br />Z-97-17 Application for design review approval to construct a 7,602 sq.ft. single- and two- <br />story addition to the existing Pleasanton police station. (97:57) <br /> <br /> Brian Swift presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta commented that this has been in the CIP budget for several years. The City <br />removed it from the CIP when the economy took a nose dive.
