There are three options available: 1) no <br />water service to Dublin and no contract; 2) a pannership, shared service and costs, revenues to <br />Pleasanton and great benefits to Dublin; 3) and full disengagement of the situation, i.e., sell the <br />entire water line system and tank to Dublin. He supported option number 1, no water service <br />to Dublin and no contract. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis said this was an interesting study project on hydrology. This is a complex <br />issue, but the financial benefits are short term and clear. It is also clear that this would be an <br />extremely complex system which would require lots of management. It is made more complex <br />because the two entities need it for different reasons. She felt there would be problems in the <br />long term. He felt the City could fix the existing tank. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti appreciated staff's efforts. She said $1.5 million was spent to install and <br />size the tank so it could be used for a joint effort project. She respected the other <br />Councilmembers' political positions.
