4. PUBHC HEARINGS AND OTHER MATTERS <br /> <br />Item 4a <br />PUD-85-10-6M, City of Pleasanton (for Hopyard Village Shopping Center) <br />Application for a major modification to an approved Planned Unit Development (PUD) for <br />Hopyard Village Shopping Center, located at the northeast corner of Hopyard Road and <br />Valley Avenue, to consider northeast corner of Hopyard Road and Valley Avenue, to <br />consider amendments to the conditions of approval regarding uses. hours of parking lot <br />gate closure, parking lot lighting. landscaping, and lattice fence extensions for the 52 space <br />eastern parking lot and buildings located at 5725 and 5737 Valley Avenue. The proposed <br />amendments would implement the settlement agreement between the City of Pleasanton and <br />the property owner (Goble Properties). Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) C-C (Central Commercial) District. (SR98: 159) <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver indicated he had a letter from the law offices that represent Goble <br />Properties stating the property owner was in agreement with the changes. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> William Stephens, 2793 Longspur Way, said the property owners supported the staff's <br />recommendation and asked that the changes be adopted as proposed. <br /> <br /> There being no further speakers, the public hearing was closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Michelotti, and seconded by Ms. Dennis, that Ordinance No. <br />1752 be introduced, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, approving <br />the application of the City of Pleasanton for a modification to an approved planned unit <br />development as filed under Case PUD-85-10-6M. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, and Mayor Tarver. <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Pico <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Item 4b <br />Revision to the Joint Powers Agreement for the Tri-Valley Transportation Development <br />Fees and adoption of the fees.
