unwilling to annex small portions of neighboring areas in <br />piecemeal fashion, but may wish to annex such properties either <br />alone or in conjunction with a larger area at some future time; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the public health, safety, and welfare of the City's <br />residents as well as those in the neighboring community are best <br />served by elimination of inadequate sewerage treatment systems <br />and connection to City sewerage facilities; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City policy is adequately preserved through the <br />provisions of an agreement wherein Owner consents to annexation <br />to City at such time as City may require; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, City and Owner hereby agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Provision of Sewer Service. City agrees to allow Owner <br />to connect to City's sanitary sewer system upon execution of this <br />agreement prior to annexation of Owner's land. Connection shall <br />be in accordance with the following: <br /> <br /> a. Owner agrees to pay the then-existing sewer <br /> connection fee for connection to the sewer system in <br /> accordance with applicable City ordinances. <br /> <br /> b. Owner agrees to pay all costs associated with <br /> extension of the sewer system to serve Owner's land, said <br /> <br /> - 2 - <br /> <br /> <br />
