Mayor Tarver asked if Mr. Kass wanted to speak regarding what was just said. <br /> <br /> Mr. Merschel said Mr. Kass agreed with the sketches that showed some grading on his <br />property. It will be worked out prior to coming before the Planning Commission and Council. <br />Mr. Merschel said he did not want the last prohibition dictated by the Greenbriar approval. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti asked when he predicted going to the Planning Commission. <br /> <br /> Mr. Merschel hoped within thirty days. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti said the financial plan may be addressed when the application went before <br />the Planning Commission. <br /> <br /> Craig Harper, 1083 Harvest Circle, hoped Council would approve the project. He felt <br />it was one of the many pieces of the puzzle to obtain a golf course in the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> Earl Bach, 446 Sycamore Road, said his property would be the most impacted by North <br />Sycamore Specific Plan. He said he would like to make this new development and road <br />realignment disappear, but if development must come, then all involved must do their part to <br />make it a fair and honest process. He said sixteen years ago the new road was supposed to go <br />behind his property. As time passed, the new road migrated further and further south until it <br />became obvious that due to the selfish nature of others, his three homes would have to be tom <br />down or moved out of the way. He is now in the process of trying to salvage what was left of <br />his property by relocating the three homes to the north on his property. He said when all is <br />done, there will be no open level land left, his house will be 41 feet from his barn (it presently <br />is 261 feet) and the land will be stripped of all trees and vegetation. He said if he could endure <br />all this for the good of Sycamore Loop and the City of Pleasanton, then he should be able to <br />trust Council to do the fight thing. He said Council needed to approve the original road <br />alignment indicated in the North Sycamore Specific Plan. Altemative A, B, C, D, or any other <br />alternative, is unacceptable at this point in time. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis asked where he lived in relation to the project. <br /> <br /> (Mr. Swift showed where the Bach property was located on an overhead.) <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver asked if Mr. Bach had had any discussion with Greenbriar regarding <br />compensation for his property, because it would be the most impacted. <br /> <br /> Mr. Bach said yes. He drew up an agreement that Greenbriar has looked at. No <br />numbers have been mentioned yet.
