MINUTES <br /> OF <br /> THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> February 17, 1998 <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Mayor Ben Tarver called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 7:03 p.m <br />and introduced Damon Field, who was acting as the Mayor this evening as part of Youth in <br />Government Day. <br /> <br /> Damon Field asked Ms. Ayala to lead the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala introduced Tara Sweet, Amador Valley High School, who described her <br />experience with the Fire Department as a participant in Youth in Government Day. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers present were Kay Ayala, Becky Dennis, Sharrell Michelotti, Thomas P. Pico, <br />Jr. and Mayor Ben Tarver. Staff members present were: Deborah Acosta, City Manager; <br />Michael H. Roush, City Attorney; Brian W. Swift, Director of Planning and Community <br />Development; and Randall A. Lum, Director of Public Works. <br /> <br /> The Councilmembers introduced the following students as participants in Youth in <br />Government Day: Jason Mansour, Tara Sweet, David Bird, Megan Roush, and Damon Field, <br />all from Amador Valley High School. <br /> <br />3.
