AMENDMENT NO. 1 <br /> <br /> CONTRACT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICE8 <br /> <br /> PREDESIGN REPORT FOR THE EAST AMADOR VALLEY <br /> COMBINED FLOW PUMPING STATION <br /> <br /> THIS AMENDMENT NO. 1 to an existing Agreement, executed on <br />June 2, 1987, is made and entered into this 16th day of February, <br />1988, by and between the CITY OF PLE~SANTON, a municipal <br />corporation (hereinafter referred to as "City"), and BROWN AND <br />CALDWELL (hereinafter referred to as "Consultant"). <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> A. Consultant is qualified to provide, and experienced in <br />providing engineering services and has offered its services for <br />the purposes specified in this Agreement. <br /> <br /> B. In the judgment of the City, it is necessary and <br />advisable to employ the services of Consultant for the purpose of <br />undertaking their engineering services. <br /> <br /> C. Consultant and City desire to execute this Amendment No. <br />1, to the original Contract for Consultant Services, Predesign <br />Report for the East Amador Valley Combined Flow Pumping Station, <br />dated June 2, 1987, in order to expand the scope of services and <br />increase total compensation for services. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants, <br />agreements and conditions contained herein, City and Consultant <br />agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Consultant's Services. Consultant shall diligently <br />perform the services and furnish the materials, reports, maps, <br />and so forth as hereinafter set forth: <br /> <br /> a. Consultant shall perform all work described in <br /> Exhibit "A", Scope of Work, attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> b. Consultant shall meet with the technical staff of <br /> the City, other pertinent agencies, and/or <br /> landowners as necessary to complete the scope of <br /> work outlined in Section l(a) herein. <br /> <br /> 2. City Services. In order to assist Consultant in this <br />study, City shall provide title reports, any existing plans of <br />the area on file, and necessary direction within a reasonable <br />time. <br /> <br /> 3. Staff. Project Manager for Consultant shall be Roy C. <br />Fedotoff. Consultant shall not replace Roy C. Fedotoff without <br />prior approval of the City. <br /> <br /> - 1 - <br /> <br /> <br />
