CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-57 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br /> PREZONING APPROXIMATELY 63 ACRES LOCATED ON THE SOUTH <br /> SIDE OF OLD DUBLIN CANYON ROAD APPROXIMATELY 4,800 FEET <br /> WEST OF THE INTERSECTION OF FOOTHILL ROAD AND OLD DUBLIN <br /> CANYON ROAD FROM THE "A" (AGRICULTURAL) TO THE "PUD <br /> (PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT)-LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL/RURAL <br /> DENSITY RESIDENTIAL/PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY" DISTRICT <br /> (RZ-87-13) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 2, 1988, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for prezoning <br /> of an approximately 63 acre site located on the south <br /> side of Old Dublin Canyon Road approximately 4,800 feet <br /> west of the intersection of Foothill Road and Old Dublin <br /> Canyon Road from the "A" (Agricultural) District to the <br /> PUD (Planned Unit development)-Low Density <br /> Residential/Rural Density Residential/Public Health and <br /> Safety District (RZ-87-13); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated January 4, 1988 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed prezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed prezoning would <br /> not have any significant adverse effects on the <br /> environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for prezoning of an <br /> approximately 63 acre site located on the south side of <br /> Old Dublin Canyon Road approximately 4,800 feet west of <br /> the intersection of Foothill Road and Old Dublin Canyon <br /> Road from the "A" (Agricultural) District to the PUD <br /> (Planned Unit development)-Low Density Residential/Rural <br /> Density Residential/Public Health and Safety District <br /> (RZ-87-13). <br /> <br /> <br />
