CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-53 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL AND UPHOLDING THE DESIGN <br /> REVIEW BOARD APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF EXXON <br /> CORPORATION FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL TO DEMOLISH AN <br /> EXISTING SERVICE STATION AND TO CONSTRUCT A NEW SERVICE <br /> STATION BUILDING AT 3192 SANTA RITA ROAD <br /> (AP-S8-01/Z-87-492) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Exxon Corporation applied for design review approval to <br /> demolish an existing service station and construct an <br /> approximately 2,600 sq. ft. service station building <br /> with 4,092 sq. ft. canopy area on an approximately <br /> 38,594 sq. ft. site located at 3192 Santa Rita Road <br /> (Z-87-492); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Design Review Board approved the application on <br /> January 13, 1988 with various conditions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this decision was appealed by the City Council so they <br /> could review the application totally; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held before the City <br /> Council on February 2, 1988 at which time all pertinent <br /> testimony and documents were reviewed; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, .THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council denies the appeal of Case Z-87-492 <br /> and therefore upholds the decision of the Design Review <br /> Board approving this application, subject to the <br /> conditions set forth on Exhibit "A", attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
