CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 88-52 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR REZONING AN APPROXIMATELY 0.43 ACRE SITE LOCATED AT 824/830 MAIN STREET AND 357 RAY STREET FROM R-1-6500 (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO THE "C-C" (CENTRAL COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT (RZ-87-12) WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 2, 1988, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for the application of Renee Spiliotopoulos to fezone an approximately 0.43 acre site located at 824/830 Main Street and 357 Ray Street from the R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential) District to the "C-C" (Central Commercial) District; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated December 15, 1987 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed rezoning; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed rezoning would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the application of Renee Spiliotopoulos to rezone an approximately 0.43 acre site located at 824/830 Main Street and 357 Ray Street from the R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential) District to the "C-C" (Central Commercial) District. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
