CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-52 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR REZONING <br /> AN APPROXIMATELY 0.43 ACRE SITE LOCATED AT 824/830 MAIN <br /> STREET AND 357 RAY STREET FROM R-1-6500 (SINGLE-FAMILY <br /> RESIDENTIAL) TO THE "C-C" (CENTRAL COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT <br /> (RZ-87-12) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 2, 1988, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for the <br /> application of Renee Spiliotopoulos to fezone an <br /> approximately 0.43 acre site located at 824/830 Main <br /> Street and 357 Ray Street from the R-1-6500 <br /> (Single-family Residential) District to the "C-C" <br /> (Central Commercial) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated December 15, 1987 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed rezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed rezoning would <br /> not have any significant adverse effects on the <br /> environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the application <br /> of Renee Spiliotopoulos to rezone an approximately 0.43 <br /> acre site located at 824/830 Main Street and 357 Ray <br /> Street from the R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential) <br /> District to the "C-C" (Central Commercial) District. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
