CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-36 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING ISSUES TO BE ADDRESSED IN THE <br /> SAN FRANCISCO SPECIFIC PLAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton adopted its General Plan on <br /> September 16, 1986; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Pleasanton General Plan designates the 550 acres <br /> owned by the City and County of San Francisco as <br /> "Specific Plan"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Specific Plan designation indicates an area of <br /> special significance to the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has identified numerous issues, <br /> attached as Exhibit "A", to be addressed by the San <br /> Francisco Specific Plan; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council hereby requests that the San <br /> Francisco Public Utilities Commission include the list <br /> of issues attached as Exhibit "A" in its contract with <br /> The Planning Collaborative, Economic Planning Systems <br /> and associated subcontractors for the preparation of a <br /> Specific Plan for the 550 acres owned by the City and <br /> County of San Francisco. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Council hereby requests that the San <br /> Francisco Public Utilities Commission, in its contract <br /> with the Specific Plan consultants, direct said <br /> consultants to work diligently with City of Pleasanton <br /> staff to address all the issues identified in Exhibit <br /> "A". <br /> <br /> <br />
