CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-30 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION OF LYON,S RESTAURANT <br /> FOR DESIGN APPROVAL FOR AN APPROXIMATELY 4,774 SQ. FT. <br /> RESTAURANT LOCATED AT 4889 HOPYARD ROAD (PUD-S1-30-41D) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Lyon's Restaurant has applied for design approval for an <br /> approximately 4,774 sq. ft. restaurant and related <br /> improvements on an approximately 0.27 acre site within <br /> Gateway Square, an approved commercial center located at <br /> 4889 Hopyard Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report was prepared for the <br /> development plan of the subject site (PUD-81-30) <br /> including the typical architectural and site designs for <br /> individual lots, and there are no changed circumstances <br /> or new information requiring additional environmental <br /> review; therefore, this application does not constitute <br /> a new project under CEQA and no new environmental <br /> documents accompany this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on January 19, 1988 and <br /> testimony taken concerning the proposed project <br /> including its design, cumulative impact, consistency <br /> with PUD-81-30 and the General Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has found that the project is <br /> consistent with PUD-81-30 as well as the City's General <br /> Plan; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application of Lyon's Restaurant for <br /> design approval for an approximately 4,774 sq. ft. <br /> restaurant and related improvements on an approximately <br /> 0.27 acre site within Gateway Square, an approved <br /> commercial center located at 4889 Hopyard Road, subject <br /> to the following conditions: <br /> <br /> 1. That the development shall conform substantially to <br /> the plans and elevations, Exhibit A (dated <br /> October 16, 1987), on file with the Planning <br /> Department, except: <br /> <br /> a. The freestanding monument sign proposed for <br /> the Hopyard Road frontage shall be deleted <br /> from the site plan. <br /> <br /> 2. That this approval does not include the approval of <br /> any signs for the restaurant; if signing for the <br /> <br /> - 1 - <br /> <br /> <br />
