CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 88-26 RESOLUTION APPROVING REVISED PLANS AND COST ESTIMATE AND AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER WITH OLIVER DE SILVA, INC. FOR THE BERNAL AVENUE MEDIAN ISLAND REVISION WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities, by his report (SR 88:28), advised the City Council that revised plans had been completed for the Bernal Avenue median island to provide for the left-turn movement from southbound Main Street to eastbound Bernal Avenue and that said plans have been reviewed by staff; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 19, 1988, the City Council reviewed the report of the Director of Public Works and Utilities relating to the project; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the revised plan for the First Street/Bernal Avenue Improvements (CIP 86-01), showing the median revision at the intersection of Main Street and Bernal Avenue to provide for the left-turn movement from southbound Main Street to eastbound Bernal Avenue. Section 2: Accepts the price quote of $38,125.00 submitted by the City's contractor Oliver de Silva, Inc. on the subject project. Section 3: Authorizes the Director of Public Works to execute a change order with Oliver de Silva, Inc. for the median island revision. Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
