Any other matters regarding the Project Area <br /> which may be submitted to the PAC by the City <br /> Council of the City (the 'Council'), the Agency <br /> or the Planning Commission. <br /> <br /> Upon approval of the PAC membership by the Council as <br /> set forth in Section 9 of this Article I, the PAC shall be <br /> and remain established throughout the period of preparation <br /> of the Redevelopment Plan for the Project and for a <br /> three-year period after the adoption of the Redevelopment <br /> Plan, subject to one-year extensions by the Council. <br /> <br /> Section 3. Membership <br /> <br /> a. Composition <br /> The PAC shall consist of not less than <br /> (__) members who shall be approved by the Council. The <br /> PAC shall be composed, to the extent practicable, of <br /> representatives selected from the following groups <br /> residing, established and doing business or located within <br /> the Project Area: Residential Owner-Occupants; Residential <br /> Tenants; Businesspersons; and Members of Existing Community <br /> Organizations. <br /> <br /> b. OualificatiOns <br /> To be eligible for membership on the PAC, a <br /> <br /> person must be either a residential owner-occupant, <br /> residential tenant, a businessperson or a member of an <br /> existing community organization residing, established and <br /> doing business or located within the Project Area <br /> boundaries. If a member ceases to qualify on one of these <br /> bases (e.g., by removal of residence or business or <br /> membership), he shall resign from the PAC or be subject to <br /> removal from the PAC as provided in Section 6 of Article I. <br /> <br /> -2- <br /> <br /> <br />
