~ _ ~ lie I I II '1 i[~ll <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. $8-i4 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF BONDS <br /> <br /> ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 1987-1 <br /> KOLL CENTER PLEASANTON <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON, ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Pleasanton resolves: <br />Section 1. RECITALS. On December 1, 1987, the City <br />Council of the City of Pleasanton adopted its resolution of <br />intention to order the acquisition of the completed improvements in <br />Assessment District 1987-1, Koll Center Pleasanton, City of <br />Pleasanton, Alameda County, California, under the provisions of the <br />Municipal Improvement Act of 1913 (th~ "Act"), as amended. <br />Proceedings taken under the Act led to the levy of a special <br />assessment by the City Council against parcels of land within the <br />assessment district in the total amount of $6,200,000.00. These <br />assessments will be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of <br />the County of Alameda, and thereupon will become a lien on each <br />parcel assessed. The period within which parcel owners might pay <br />their assessments in cash without interest was waived by the <br />property owners. <br /> <br /> Section 2. ISSUANCE OF BONDS. The City Council hereby <br /> <br />authorizes the issuance of improvement bonds under the provisions of <br />the Improvement Bond Act of 1915 to represent unpaid assessments. <br />The bonds shall be designated, "Limited Obligation Improvement Bond, <br />City of Pleasanton, Assessment District No. 1987-1, Koll Center <br />Pleasanton, Series No. 1987-1." Bonds shall be issued in <br />denominations of $5000 or integral multiples thereof, and shall be <br />dated January.19, 1988.
