CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-03 <br /> <br /> DENIAL OF THE CLAIM FOR INDEMNITY OF RON STACY <br /> INDIVIDUALLY AND DBA STACY TRUCKING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on December 11, 1987, the City of Pleasanton received a <br /> claim for indemnity filed on behalf of Ron Stacy, <br /> individually and doing business as Stacy Trucking in <br /> conjunction with the litigation arising from the <br /> accident involving Barbara Benfield on August 13, 1987; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on January 5, 1988, the City Council reviewed the claim <br /> and determined that it should be denied; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The claim for indemnity of Ron Stacy, individually <br /> and doing business as Stacy Trucking is hereby denied. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 5, 1988 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None N~EJH~~)~ <br />ATTEST: b~.~_---~ <br /> KE R.
