CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-295 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE <br /> DECLARATION FOR THE APPLICATION OF FLOWER <br /> REALTY, INC. AND PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE <br /> COMPANY FOR REZONINGAND DEVELOPMENT PLAN <br /> APPROVAL FOR A RETAIL COMMERCIAL <br /> STRUCTUREAND RELATEDIMPROVEMENTS <br /> LOCATED AT THE NORTPIRAST CORNER OF <br /> HOPYARDROADAND OWENS DRIVE (PUD-88-6) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 21, 1988, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for <br /> the application of Flower Realty, Inc. and <br /> Prudential Insurance Company of America for Planned <br /> Unit Development rezoning and development plan <br /> approval for a single-story, approximately 2,150 <br /> sq. ft. retail commercial structure and related <br /> improvements to be located on an approximately <br /> 20,000 sq. ft. site located at the northeast corner <br /> of the intersection of Hopyard Road and Owens <br /> Drive (PUD-88-6); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the <br /> Initial Study dated May 20, 1988 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning <br /> Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br /> time the public was given the opportunity to <br /> comment on the environmental impacts of the <br /> proposed development plan and rezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential <br /> impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br /> local guidelines governing the preparation of <br /> Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact <br /> Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed <br /> development plan and rezoning would not have any <br /> significant adverse effects on the environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for <br /> the application of Flower Realty, Inc. and <br /> Prudential Insurance Company of America for Planned <br /> Unit Development rezoning and development plan <br /> <br /> <br />
