CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 88-288 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FORT HE APPLICATION OF THE PT~ASANTON JOINT SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR A GENERAL PLANAMENDMENT CHANGING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF APPROXIMATELY 27 ACRES AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF BERNALAVENUE AND CASE AVENUE FROM "MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL AND HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" TO "PUBLIC AND INSTITUTIONAL" (GP-88-2) WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 21, 1988, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for the application of Pleasanton Joint School District to amend the Land Use Element designation of the General Plan from "Medium Density Residential and High Density Residential" to "Public and Institutional" for an approximately 27 acre site located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Bernal Avenue and Case Avenue; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated May 20, 1988 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan Amendment; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan Amendment would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the application of Pleasanton Joint School District to amend the Land Use Element designation of the General Plan from "Medium Density Residential and High Density Residential" to "Public and
