The Final EIR on page 19 indicates that lot sizes in <br />Land Unit A will range from 12,000 square feet to 30,000 square <br /> <br />feet. ~ <br /> <br /> As described on pages 33 and 34 of the DEIR, the City <br /> <br />General Plan housing goals include attaining a variety of <br />housing types, densities, designs and prices which meet the <br />existing and projected needs of all existing segments of the <br />community, stimulating development of single family housing on <br />lots of 20,000 square feet and greater, and encouraging rental <br />development and affordable housing. <br /> <br /> The DEIR indicates on page 35 that the Project does <br />not contain any measures to mitigate housing and population <br />impacts, and the DEIR does not propose any such mitigation <br />measures. Neither the DEIR nor the Final EIR states that the <br />housing and population impacts of the Project are significant. <br />Housing and population impacts are not identified on page 89 of <br />the DEIR as significant, unavoidable, adverse impacts to the <br />Project. <br /> <br /> a. The City Council finds that approval of <br />the Project and subsequent development of the Project site will <br />implement and further the General Plan goals and policies <br />regarding the stimulation of development of single family <br />housing on lots of 20,000 square feet and greater. The Project <br />will implement these goals and policies by providing for <br />development of such lots on Land Unit A. The City Council <br /> <br /> <br />
