Neither the DEIR nor the Final EIR states that the <br />impacts of the Project relating to fire protection are <br />significant. The DEIR's list on page 89 of significaat <br />unavoidable adverse impacts of the Project does not include <br />fire protection impacts. <br /> <br /> 2. FindingS. <br /> <br /> a. The City Council finds, on the basis 9f <br /> <br />the DEIR's conclusion that the Project will not create an <br />identifiable need for additional personnel or equipment, and <br />noting the absence of any finding of significant adverse <br />impact, that the Project and subsequent development of the <br />Project site will not have a significant adverse impact <br />relating to fire protection. <br /> <br /> b. With respect to Mitigation Measure 1 <br />set forth on page 71, requiring review of plans for subsequent <br />development of the Project site by Police and Fire Department <br />personnel in order to assure adequate emergency access, the <br />City Council finds that implementation of this measure will <br />assure adequate emergency access. The City Council further <br />finds that this mitigation measure shall become a "Condition of <br />Approval" to the Project. <br /> <br /> c. With respect to Mitigation Measure 2 <br />set forth on page 71, the City Council finds that this measure <br />refers to long-range forecasts for the school district and that <br />this measure is identical to a measure set forth under the <br />discussion of school impacts.
