CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-253 <br /> <br /> REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO <br /> SEQUOIA SURFACING & ENGINEERING, FOR <br /> RESURFACING FAIRLANDS PARK TENNIS COURTS, <br /> PROJECT NO. 877099 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City prepared plans and specifications for <br /> resurfacing Fairlands Park tennis courts, Project <br /> No. 877099; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 37900, et seq., <br /> the City Engineering Services Division advertised <br /> for bids regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on June 7, <br /> 1988; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid of Sequoia Surfacing & Engineering, in the <br /> amount of $7,950.00 was determined to be the lowest <br /> responsible bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities <br /> recommended that the bid of Sequoia Surfacing & <br /> Engineering be accepted; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of Sequoia Surfacing & Engineering, in <br /> the amount of $7,950.00, for resurfacing Fairlands <br /> Park tennis courts, Project No. 877099, is hereby <br /> accepted by the City Council as the lowest <br /> responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Manager is authorized to execute a <br /> contract with Sequoia Surfacing & Engineering for <br /> the improvements specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
