CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-234 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION SUPPORTING ALAMEDA COUNTY'S MEASURE B <br /> REGARDING A BOND ISSUE FOR SANTA RITA JAIL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Alameda County has placed on the June 7, 1988 ballot <br /> Measure B, which if approved by the voters would permit <br /> the County to sell $83.4 million of G. O. Bonds to <br /> finance the County's cost of the new Santa Rita Jail <br /> facility; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the need for funding for the <br /> Alameda County Jail facility at Santa Rita; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The City Council of Pleasanton supports Alameda <br /> County's Measure B on the June 7, 1988 ballot for an <br /> $83.4 million bond issue for the new Santa Rita Jail <br /> facility. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MAY 17, 1988 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None NET/H~R..M~ <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> KEN <br /> <br />~ames'R.
