The tasks and cost estimates for these services <br />follow: <br /> <br />PHASE 1: PRE-CONSTRUCTION <br /> <br />Design Review and Bid Expenses <br /> <br />Scope: Review completed construction documents for poten- <br />tial construction problems (such as relocation of utilities) <br />that may cause delays or cost overruns; coordinate with <br />architect for production of final documents for bidding; <br />print bid documents. <br /> <br />Estimate: Technical Staff - Budget $ 5,000 <br /> Expenses - Document Printing 2,250 <br /> Subtotal $ 7,250 <br /> <br />Coordination <br /> <br />Scope: Analyze bid results. Attend meetings with archi- <br />tect, City, and School District to coordinate contract <br />award, notice-to-proceed, and schedule for demolition and <br />access over school property. <br /> <br />Estimate: Project Manager - <br /> 5 weeks at 8 hrs/week $ 3,400 <br /> Expenses - Mileage, phone, 300 <br /> equipment <br /> Subtotal $ 3,700 <br /> <br /> Total Preconstruction Phase: $10,950 <br />PHASE 2: CONSTRUCTION <br />Construction Monitoring and Coordination <br /> <br />Scope: Monitor progress, quality, and cost of construction; <br />revxew and advise the City on Contractor's claims for in- <br />creased costs and extensions of time, if any; monitor shop <br />drawing review and approval process; coordinate Contractor <br />information and change requests. <br /> <br />Estimate: Project Manager - <br /> 26 weeks at 4 hrs/week $ 8,550 <br /> <br />SJP9/067-3 <br /> <br /> <br />
