CONTRACT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES <br /> <br /> Amador Valley Theatre Construction Management Service <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this day of <br /> <br /> , 1988, by and between the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a <br />municipal corporation (hereinafter referred to as "City"), and <br />CH2M HILL INC., a California corporation (hereinafter referred to <br />as "Consultant"). <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> A. Consultant is qualified to provide, and experienced in <br />providing construction management services and has offered its <br />services for the purposes specified in this Agreement. <br /> <br /> B. In the judgment of the City, it is necessary and <br />advisable to employ the services of Consultant for the purpose of <br />undertaking their construction management services. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants, <br />agreements and conditions contained herein, City and Consultant <br />agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Consultant's Services. Consultant shall diligently <br />perform the services and furnish the materials, reports, and so <br />forth as hereinafter set forth: <br /> <br /> a. Consultant shall perform all work described in <br /> Exhibit "A", Scope of Work, attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> b. Consultant shall meet with the technical staff of <br /> the City, other pertinent agencies, and/or <br /> landowners as necessary to complete the scope of <br /> work outlined in section l(a) herein. <br /> <br /> 2. City Services. In order to assist Consultant City shall <br />provide any necessary direction within a reasonable time. <br /> <br /> 3. Staff. Project Managers for Consultant shall be Steve <br />Crawford and Ernie Avila. Consultant shall not replace project <br />managers without prior approval of the City. <br /> <br /> 4. Sufficiency of Consultant's Work. Consultant agrees <br />that review of plans and specifications prepared for City shall <br />be adequate and sufficient to meet the purposes for which they <br />are designed. <br /> <br /> - 1 - <br /> <br /> <br />
