CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-229 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF SANTA RITA ROAD <br /> IMPROVEMENTS (VATJ~Y AVENUE TO MOHR <br /> AVENUE), PROJECT NO. NPID 82-4E, AND <br /> APPROVAL OF FINAL PROGRESS PAYMENT TO <br /> OLIVER DE SILVA, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, work by Oliver de Silva, Inc. on the <br /> Santa Rita Road improvements (Valley <br /> Avenue to Mohr Avenue), Project No. <br /> NPID 82-4E, has been satisfactorily <br /> completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the Santa Rita Road improvements <br /> (Valley Avenue to Mohr Avenue) is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare <br /> a warrant in the amount of $12,640.98 in favor of <br /> Oliver de Silva, Inc. in satisfaction of the final <br /> progress payment for the above-accepted work on <br /> Project No. NPID 82-4E. Ten percent (10%) of the <br /> total contract or $80,858.56 will be retained until <br /> thirty (30) days after filing of the Notice of <br /> Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice of <br /> Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: Authorizes the Mayor to execute an agreement with <br /> PG&E conveying those certain underground electric <br /> distribution systems installed and constructed <br /> within those Improvements when requested by PG&E. <br /> <br />Section 5: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
