CONTRACT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES <br /> <br /> PUBLIC INFORMATION SERVICES FOR NPID NO. 3 IMPROVEMENTS <br /> AT SANTA RITA ROAD AND 1-580, HACIENDA DRIVE <br /> AND 1-580, STONERIDGE DRIVE AND 1-680, AND <br /> AUXILIARY LANES ON 1-580 AND 1-680 <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this 17th day of <br /> <br /> May , 1988, by and between the CITY OF <br /> <br /> PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation (hereinafter referred to as <br />"City"), and EDWARDS & McCASLIN (hereinafter referred <br />to as "Consultant"). <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> A. Consultant is qualified to provide, and experienced in <br />providing, public information services and has offered its <br />services for the purposes specified in this Agreement. <br /> <br /> B. In the judgment of the City, it is necessary and <br />advisable to employ the services of Consultant for the purpose of <br />undertaking their public information services. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants, <br />agreements and conditions contained herein, City and Consultant <br />agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Consultant ' s Services. Consultant shall diligently <br />perform the services and furnish the materials, signs, and other <br />services as hereinafter set forth: <br /> <br /> a. Consultant shall perform all work described in <br /> Exhibit "A", Scope of Work, attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> b. Consultant shall meet with the staff and other <br /> consultants of the City, other pertinent agencies, <br /> and/or landowners as necessary to complete the scope <br /> of work outlined in Section l(a) herein. <br /> <br /> 2. City Services. In order to assist Consultant in this <br />work, City shall provide reports, any existing plans of the area, <br />and necessary direction within a reasonable time. The City will <br />des ignate the Director of Public Works as the individual <br />authorized to approve the programs as listed in Exhibit "A". <br /> <br /> <br />
