Over the past three months, we have
discussed with ARC staff the establishment of a city vehicle
cleaning program employing six (6) ARC program clients. This
washing program will be similar to the highly successful vehicle
cleaning program ARC currently operates for the City of Livemore
Police Department.

Except for police, fire and public works vehicles, the regular
cleaning of the city's remaining vehicles has always been
difficult. The proposed vehicle cleaning program will solve this
problem. In addition, the program will reduce the time spent by
field service personnel cleaning their vehicles. Initially, the
interior and exteriors of fifty vehicles per month will be
cleaned. Ten of the fifty vehicles will be waxed per month. The
program will be expanded in the future.
