CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-214 <br /> <br /> DENIAL OF THE CLAIM OF AMERON, INC. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 2, 1988, the City of Pleasanton received a <br /> claim for indemnity filed on behalf of Ameron, Inc. <br /> regarding the fatal accident which occurred on <br /> Foothill Road in December, 1986; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 17, 988, the City Council reviewed the claim <br /> and determined that it should be denied; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The claim of Ameron, Inc. is hereby denied. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MAY 17, 1988 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None ~J~/Z,,,~ <br /> KENN~ETH'Rj ~ERCER, MAYOR <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br />/James R.
