ARTICLE 3 <br /> MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS AND BUS SHELTERS <br /> <br />3.1 Traffic Signals. The City shall maintain, or contract <br /> to have maintained, all traffic signals at the <br /> intersection of Owens Drive and Chabot Drive, the <br /> traffic signals at the intersection of Hacienda Drive <br /> and Owens Drive, and the traffic signals at the <br /> intersection of Rosewood Drive and Old Santa Rita <br /> Road, if any (collectively, the "Traffic Signals"). <br /> Maintenance shall mean the care of the Traffic Signals, <br /> including repair and replacement where necessary. If <br /> the City elects to contract for such maintenance, the <br /> City shall exercise due diligence to minimize the cost <br /> of the contract including public bidding if so <br /> requested. The Association shall reimburse the City of <br /> the actual cost of maintenance of the Traffic Signals <br /> as determined by standard accounting principles. The <br /> Association shall be directly billed for and shall pay <br /> all electricity charges resulting from the operation of <br /> the Traffic Signals. Reimbursement to the City for <br /> maintenance costs shall be made within thirty (30) days <br /> after receipt by the Association of a statement from <br /> the City for the Association's share of such charges <br /> accompanied by copies of invoices from the contractors <br /> performing such maintenance, which invoices <br /> demonstrate that said contractors have been paid by the <br /> City. <br /> <br />3.2 Bus Shelters. The Association shall at its sole <br /> expense clean, maintain, repair, and replace, where <br /> necessary, all bus shelters within Hacienda Business <br /> Park Phase II and remove trash from trash receptacles <br /> at such bus shelters. Cleaning and trash removal shall <br /> be done as frequently as reasonably necessary to <br /> maintain the bus shelters in a sightly condition, <br /> provided that trash removal shall be done at least <br /> weekly. <br /> <br />3.3 Street Siqnaqe. The Association shall at its sole <br /> expense maintain, repair, and replace, where <br /> necessary, all street signs and traffic control signs <br /> located in the areas described in Sections 1.1.1, <br /> 1.1.2,1.1.3,1.1.4,1.1.5,1.1.6andl.l.7. <br /> <br />3.4 Structures. The Association shall at its sole expense <br /> maintain, repair, and replace, where necessary, the <br /> steel structures, walls, and bollards located in the <br /> areas described in Sections 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.1.3, 1.1.4, <br /> 1.1.5, 1.1.6 and 1.1.7. <br /> <br /> 8 <br /> <br /> <br />
