CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-208 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING CONCEPTUAL SITE PLAN <br /> FOR PTaASANTON SENIOR CENTER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in September 1986, Council retained Group <br /> 4/Architecture, Research and Planning, Inc. as <br /> consultant to begin working on a Senior Center <br /> Project to be located at the site of the existing <br /> corporation yard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in July 1987, Task I, the completed Pleasanton <br /> Senior Center Program of Building Requirements was <br /> presented to Council and approved and Council <br /> authorized Task II, preparation of a conceptual <br /> site plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Conceptual Site Plan has been reviewed by the <br /> Senior Center Task Force, the VIP Club, the Park <br /> and Recreation Commission and the Human Services <br /> Commission and strongly supported by each; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council approves the Conceptual Site <br /> Plan for the Pleasanton Senior Center as prepared <br /> by Group 4/Architecture, Research and Planning, <br /> Inc. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the appropriate City officials to <br /> enter into an agreement with Group 4/Architecture <br /> Research and Planning, Inc. to prepare a complete <br /> preliminary design package at a fee not to exceed <br /> $45,584 for the expanded scope of work. A project <br /> budget of $3-3.5 million dollars shall be <br /> established as a design guideline. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
