CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-202 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF A <br /> DECISION OF THE BOARD OFADJUSTMENT <br /> DENYING THE APPLICATION OF JOHN PINTO FOR <br /> A VARIANCE TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION OF A <br /> CARPORT STRUCTURE WITHIN THE REQUIRED <br /> SIDE YARD SETBACK AT 4667 WHITING STREET <br /> (AP--88-07) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 23, 1988, the Board of <br /> Adjustment denied the application of John Pinto for <br /> a variance to allow construction of a carport <br /> structure within the required side yard setback to <br /> be located at 4667 Whiting Street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this matter was appealed to the City Council by Mr. <br /> Pinto; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the matter was considered by the Council on May 3, <br /> 1988 and was open to a public hearing; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Denies the appeal of John Pinto of a decision of <br /> the board of Adjustment denying a variance from the <br /> Municipal Code, which denial forbids construction <br /> of a carport structure within the required side <br /> yard setback at 4667 Whiting Street. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MAY 3, 1988 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers- Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None ~~~jj~/ <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: KENNETPf R.
