CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-198 <br /> <br /> REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO UNION ELECTRIC <br /> CONSTRUCTION FOR PUMPING STATIONS S7 AND S8 - ELECTRICAL <br /> MODIFICATIONS, CIP NO. 872912. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City prepared plans and specifications for Pumping <br /> Stations S7 and S8 Electrical Modifications, CIP No. <br /> 872912; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 37900, et seq., the <br /> City Engineering Services Division advertised for bids <br /> regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on April 20, <br /> 1988; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid of Union Electric Construction, in the amount of <br /> $19,257.00 was determined to be the lowest responsible <br /> bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities recommended <br /> that the bid of Union Electric Construction be accepted; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of Union Electric Construction, in the amount <br /> of $19,257.00, for Pumping stations S7 and S8 Electrical <br /> Modifications, CIP No. 872912, is hereby accepted by the <br /> City Council as the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Mayor is authorized to execute a contract with <br /> Union Electric Construction for the improvements <br /> specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
