CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 88-185 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION AND DELIVERY OF AN EQUIPMENT LEASE/PURCHASE AGREEMENT, AND RELATED INSTRUMENTS, AND DETERMINING OTHER MATTERS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH WHEREAS, the governing body of City of P].easanton, California( "Lessee" ) has determined that a true and very real need exists for the Equipment (the "Equj. pment") described in the Equipment I,ease/Purchase Agreement (the "Agreement" ) presented to this meeting; and WHEREAS, Lessee has taken the necessary steps, inc].uding those relating to any applicable legal biddj. ng requirements, to arrange for the acquisition of the Equi pment; and WHEREAS, [,e;{~.-~ee proposes to enter into the Agreement substanti,~lly in the f'c~rm presented to this meet i ng. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF I,ES~EE AS FOLLOWS: S,<~0~.~/.0n..~.: It is hereby found and determined -that the terms of the Agreement in the form presented to this meeting and incor'porated in this resolution, ar'e in the best interests of Lessee for the acquisition of the Equipmen.t.
