CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-455 <br /> <br /> RESOI/3TIONAPPROVING BUDGET ADJUSTMENT TO <br /> AI.TOW HIRING AN ADDITIONAL WATER <br /> MAINTENANCE WORKER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has become apparent that an additional worker is <br /> needed in the Water Maintenance Division as soon as <br /> possible; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities <br /> presented a report (SR 88:453) requesting a budget <br /> amendment now rather than wait until the usual <br /> midyear budget review; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves an amendment to the Operating Budget to <br /> allow hiring of an additional Water Maintenance <br /> Worker and authorizes the appropriation from the <br /> Water Fund of $29,256, plus all applicable benefit <br /> costs. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 20, 1988 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None /NE~.~~~~ <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> K N .
