CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 88-433 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF TONY P. ROVAI FOR DESIGN APPROVAL FOR EXTERIOR MODIFICATIONS TO 243 MAIN STREET (Z-88-31) WHEREAS, Tony P. Rovai has applied for design approval for exterior modifications to an existing commercial structure at 243 Main Street; and WHEREAS, this project is categorically exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality act (CEQA) and no environmental document accompanies this application; and WHEREAS, the project is located within the Downtown Revitalization District, is subject to the provisions of the Downtown Design Guidelines, and is also located in the Civic Overlay (C-O) District, which requires review by the Planning Commission and final approval by the City Council; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 10, 1988, the Planning Commission recommended approval of the project; and WHEREAS, the City Council has found that the project is consistent with all three overlaying zoning districts as well as the City's General Plan; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the application of Tony P. Rovai for design approval for exterior modifications to 243 Main Street, subject to the following conditions: 1. That the project shall be substantially as shown on the site plan, and elevations, Exhibit A (dated August 5, 1988), on file with the Planning Department. 2. That no signs are approved with this application and that the applicant shall submit any proposed signage for final approval by the Design Review Board prior to installation.
