EXHIBIT "A" <br />NIELSON PARK <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />Phase I: Analysis and Evaluation <br /> <br /> A. Conduct site visit to analyze existing <br /> conditions, adjacent land use, circulation and <br /> access patterns, landform, climatic factors, <br /> vegetation and views in and out of site. <br /> <br /> B. Collect and review available data and existing <br /> plan information to ascertain design <br /> implications. <br /> <br /> C. Identify existing utility service system: <br /> water, gas and electrical supply, sanitary <br /> sewer and storm drainage. <br /> <br /> D. Attend meeting with City staff to review and <br /> evaluate the existing Master Plan, receive <br /> input frm the playground committee and park <br /> maintenance department, project objectives, and <br /> to establish design criteria and schedule. <br /> <br />Phase II: Design Development <br /> <br /> A. Refine and develop the park design in <br /> preparation for production of construction <br /> documents in regard to the following: <br /> <br /> 1. Product and materials research; <br /> 2. Grading and drainage; <br /> 3. Planting concept and palette; <br /> 4. Organization and layout of construction; <br /> 5. Specifications outline; <br /> 6. Preliminary cost estimate. <br /> <br /> B. Meet with City staff to review design <br /> development package. <br /> <br /> C. Prepare construction document base sheet (1) at <br /> 1" = 30'scale. <br /> <br /> D. Submit base sheet to City staff for review and <br /> approval to proceed. <br /> <br />PHASE III. Construction Documents <br /> <br /> A. Prepare plans, details and specifications <br /> necessary for construction of the park, <br /> including the following: <br /> <br /> 1. Cover sheet; <br /> <br /> <br />
