CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-380 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AT~OWINGREBUTTALARGUMENTS <br /> REGARDING INITIATIVE MEASURE ON <br /> NOVEMBER 8, 1988 B/~r~T <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City received a petition to place an initiative <br /> proposing a planned unit development rezoning and <br /> development plan approval for a commercial complex <br /> including retail shops, a service station, a car <br /> wash, a snack shop and restaurant pad at the <br /> southeast corner of the intersection of Santa Rita <br /> Road and Pimlico Drive on the November 8, 1988 <br /> ballot; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 4015.5 of the Elections code states that <br /> the City Council has the authority to determine <br /> whether or not rebuttal arguments shall be allowed <br /> to be submitted and included on the ballot; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council hereby adopts the procedures set <br /> forth in Sections 4015.5 and 5014.5 of the <br /> Elections Code regarding submission of rebuttal <br /> arguments. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 2, 1988 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmember Wilson <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br />ABSTAIN: None /~~ <br />ATTEST: KENNETH R.
