CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-378 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DIRECTING CITY ATTORNEY TO <br /> PREPARE AN IMPARTIAL ANALYSIS OF <br /> INITIATIVE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in June of this year the City received a petition <br /> to place an initiative proposing a planned unit <br /> development rezoning and development plan approval <br /> for a commercial complex including retail shops, a <br /> service station, a car wash, a snack shop and <br /> restaurant pad at the southeast corner of the <br /> intersection of Santa Rita Road and Pimlico Drive <br /> on the November 8, 1988 ballot; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 5011 of the Election Code specifies that <br /> the City Council may direct the City Clerk to <br /> transmit a copy of the initiative to the City <br /> Attorney to prepare an impartial analysis of the <br /> measure; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Clerk is directed to transmit a copy of <br /> the initiative proposing a planned unit development <br /> rezoning and development plan approval for a <br /> commercial complex including retail shops, a <br /> service station, a car wash, a snack shop and <br /> restaurant pad at the southeast corner of the <br /> intersection of Santa Rita Road and Pimlico Dive on <br /> the November 8, 1988 ballot to the City Attorney to <br /> prepare an impartial analysis to be placed on the <br /> ballot. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
