CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-377 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION REQUESTING CONSOLIDATION OF <br /> THE CITY OF PT~ASANTON GENERAL MUNICIPAL <br /> ET~CTION WITH THE NOVEMBER 8, 1988 <br /> STATEWIDE GENERAL ELECTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a general municipal election will be held in the <br /> City of Pleasanton on November 8, 1988 for the <br /> following officers: <br /> <br /> Mayor <br /> Councilmembers (3) <br /> City Treasurer; <br /> <br /> and a ballot measure for the determination of: <br /> <br /> An initiative proposing a Planned Unit Development <br /> Rezoning and Development Plan approval for a <br /> commercial complex, including retail shops, service <br /> station, car wash, snack shop and restaurant pad, <br /> at the southeast corner of the intersection of <br /> Santa Rita Road and Pimlico Drive; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 23302 of the Election Code provides for the <br /> consolidation of the City of Pleasanton general <br /> municipal election with the November 8, 1988 <br /> statewide general election upon the filing of a <br /> resolution with the Board of Supervisors requesting <br /> said consolidation; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Consolidation with Statewide General Election. <br /> The City Council hereby requests the Alameda County <br /> Board of Supervisors order the consolidation of the <br /> general municipal election with the statewide <br /> general election to be held on November 8, 1988 in <br /> accordance with Section 23302 of the Elections <br /> Code. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
