on the construction site. All such vehicles, if any, shall be removed from the site <br />at the end of each workday. <br /> <br />7. The approved building materials and colors shall be stated on the building permit <br />plans to the satisfaction of the Planning Director. Substitutions shall not be <br />allowed unless otherwise approved by the Planning Director. <br /> <br />8. All site improvements and house construction activities shall be limited to the <br />hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding federal <br />holidays. All construction equipment must meet Department of Motor Vehicles <br />(DMV) noise standards and shall be equipped with muffling devices. The <br />Planning Director may allow earlier “start-times” for specific construction activities <br />(e.g., concrete-foundation/floor pouring), if it can be demonstrated to the <br />satisfaction of the Planning Director that the construction noise and traffic will not <br />affect nearby residents. <br /> <br />Planning Conditions <br /> <br />9. Permitted and Conditionally Permitted Uses for the project shall be those of the <br />R-1 One-Family Residential District as outlined in the Pleasanton Municipal Code <br />(P.M.C. §18.32). <br /> <br />10. The project developer shall work with staff to diversify the front stairs and <br />entryways of the homes facing Peters Avenue and to soften the streetscape <br />along Peters Avenue through landscaping. <br /> <br />11. The project developer shall add a door un the garage of Unit D that provides <br />direct acess into the unit. <br /> <br />12. All new homes and the renovated existing home are required to be a “green <br />home” with a minimum of points in each category (Resources, Energy, and <br />IAQ/Health) required for a Certified Rating. The green building measures shall <br />be shown on one of the first two pages of the plans submitted for issuance of a <br />building permit. Each point identified shall have a notation showing which sheet <br />the item can be found. All proposed green building measures shall be shown <br />throughout the plan set, as appropriate, as determined by the Planning Director <br />and the Chief Building Official. A special inspection by a representative from the <br />Planning Department shall be coordinated with regards to landscaping, irrigation, <br />and exterior materials. All of the green building measures indicated on the <br />approved checklist shall be inspected and approved by either the City of <br />Pleasanton, a qualified specialist, or the applicant shall provide written verification <br />by the project engineer, architect, landscape architect, or designer. <br /> <br /> 2 <br /> <br />
