PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2007-03 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF DUKE FULLER FOR DESIGN <br />REVIEW APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE PDR-422 <br />WHEREAS, Duke Fuller has applied for design review approval to construct an approximately <br />5,484-square-foot single-story custom home with an approximately <br />767-square-foot attached garage at the property located at 4134 Foothill Road; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD-A/RDR (Planned Unit Development - <br />Agriculture/Rural Density Residential) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its duly notified public hearing of January 24, 2007, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, an environmental review for the proposed project was undertaken with the <br />Environmental Initial Study and a Negative Declaration for PUD-3, adopted by <br />the City Council on May 8, 2001 in conformance with the standards of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act *CEQA); and no subsequent, supplemental, <br />or addendum to the Negative Declaration is necessary because there are no <br />substantial changes to the project or to the circumstances under which the project <br />is being undertaken that involve new significant environmental effects or that <br />substantially increase the severity of previously identified effects; furthermore, <br />there is no new information of substantial importance, which was unknown at the <br />time the Negative Declaration was adopted regarding the project or its effects, <br />mitigation measures, or alternatives; and any previously identified effects or <br />impacts are mitigated to a level of insignificance, with the mitigation measures <br />incorporated into the project's design or imposed pursuant to the conditions of <br />approval; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed project is consistent with <br />the appearance of the existing buildings in the area. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves Case PDR-422, the application of Duke Fuller for design review <br />approval to construct an approximately 5,484-square-foot single-story custom <br />home with an approximately 767-square-foot attached garage at the <br />
