CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-351 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF CLYDE <br /> VAUGHN OF A DECISION OF THE BOARD OF <br /> ADJUSTMENT DENYING ANAPPLICATION FOR A <br /> VARIANCE FROM THE SIGN ORDINANCE <br /> REGARDING 400 MAIN STREET <br /> (AP-88-13/V-88-12) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 8, 1988, the Board of <br /> Adjustment denied the application of Clyde Vaughn <br /> for a variance from the Municipal Code to allow the <br /> installation of wall-mounted signs on the second <br /> floor of an existing office/commercial building <br /> at 400 Main Street where such signage is not <br /> permitted to be located (Case V-88-12); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Pleasanton <br /> Municipal Code, the applicant submitted an appeal <br /> to the City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held by the <br /> Council on July 19, 1988, at which time all <br /> pertinent testimony and documents were reviewed; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council denies the appeal of Clyde <br /> Vaughn of the decision of the Board of Adjustment <br /> denying his application for a variance from the <br /> Municipal Code to allow the installation of wall- <br /> mounted signs on the second floor of an existing <br /> office/commercial building at 400 Main Street where <br /> such signage is not permitted to be located (Case <br /> V-88-12/AP-88-33). <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
