CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-339 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER <br /> IMPROVEMENTS, LANDSCAPE ASSESSMENT <br /> DISTRICT NO. 1984-1 (PURSUE TO THE <br /> LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972) <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council intends to levy and collect <br /> assessments within Landscape Assessment District <br /> No. 1984-1 during the fiscal year 1988-89. The <br /> area of land to be assessed is located in the City <br /> of Pleasanton, Alameda County. <br /> <br />Section 2: The improvements to be made in this assessment <br /> district are generally described as follows: <br /> <br /> Construction and maintenance of a landscaped strip <br /> along the Arroyo de la Laguna between Pleasanton <br /> Canal and the Arroyo del Valle. <br /> <br />Section 3: In accordance with this Council's resolution <br /> directing the filing of an annual report, Joseph <br /> Elliott, Engineer of Work, has filed with the City <br /> Clerk the report required by the Landscaping and <br /> Lighting Act of 1972. All interested persons are <br /> referred to that report for a full and detailed <br /> description of the improvements, the boundaries of <br /> the assessment district, and the proposed <br /> assessments upon assessable lots and parcels of <br /> land within the assessment district. <br /> <br />Section 4: On Tuesday, the 2nd of August, 1988, at the hour <br /> of 8 o'clock P.M., the City Council will conduct a <br /> public hearing on the question of the levy of the <br /> proposed annual assessment. The hearing will be <br /> held at the meeting place of the City Council, <br /> located in the City Hall, 200 01d Bernal Avenue, <br /> Pleasanton, California. <br /> <br />Section 5: The City Clerk is authorized and directed to give <br /> the notice of hearing required by the Landscaping <br /> and Lighting Act of 1972. <br /> <br />Section 6: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
